JavaBBowl for OS X is not...

  1. Necessary. You can play just fine with the regular .jar file.
  2. Incompatible in any way with anyone using the .jar file - whether on a mac, pc or linux box.
  3. Used when you use the Play link on FUMBBL. The Play link will always start up the .jar file.
  4. Useable on its own. You need to install the full version first.
  5. A full patch for JBB. This is just an optional replacement for the .jar file. It does not include any additional files, such as the necessary images or configuration files.
  6. My own creation. I simply repackage SkiJunkie's work and redistribute it as a small favor to the mac users in the JBB community.
  7. Available to those who do not own a copy of the original board game. You must own a copy of the board game in order to use the full version from SkiJunkie and since you need his files to play, you must own a copy in order to use JBB.
